Scalded milk cake as requested by Chuckles

Options

Preheat oven to 350°. Grease and flour a tube cake pan

Cake batter ingredients:

Six eggs, three cups of sugar, three teaspoons of whatever extract flavoring you want, traditionally vanilla three cups flour, 4 teaspoons baking powder, a pinch of salt and 1 & 1/2 cups scalded milk. (to scald the milk you put it in a small saucepan and heated just until bubbles appear on bottom of the pan)

Combine dry ingredients together. Beat together eggs and sugar and vanilla until creamy. Slowly add alternating flour and scalded milk. Pour into prepared cake pan and bake for 1 hour or until knife inserted into cake comes dry
