Grilled Potatoes
Hi Everyone
This isn't an exact recipe. We always have quite a few people over when we barbeque. so you can adjust it for your family size.
White potatoes
onions
peppers
mushrooms
bacon
carrots
Heavy duty aluminum foil (we use the large long roll)
Slice your potatoes thin, slice onions and peppers into thin strips. I use canned mushrooms and carrots for mine, but you can use fresh if you prefer.
Cut your bacon into short little strips.
Spray your aluminum foil with some cooking spray. Lay potatoes down first then put everything else on top. I add some olive oil along with a few pats of butter.
Seasoning- salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, also can add your favorite kinds of spices.
Fold your aluminum foil up so that it becomes a packet.
You can either put the packet on the top shelf of your grill as soon as you turn it on so that they have time to cook while you prepare your other stuff. Or you can make these in the oven. If done in the oven preheat to 375. Place on baking sheet on center rack for 1 hour or until potatoes are tender.
