Southern Fried Chicken
Southern Fried Chicken Breasts
2 eggs, beaten
1 cup milk
2 teaspoons paprika
½ teaspoon poultry seasoning
Salt & pepper
2 cups flour
Oil for frying
In a shallow dish whisk eggs and milk together, set aside
In a separate shallow dish mix flour and seasonings
Dip chicken in egg mixture then coat in flour, repeat process one more time for a thicker coating
Fry chicken until golden brown and done
Serve
I found this recipe needed more spices so i sprinkled The Keg's chicken and ribs seasoning on top.
Also i had a lot of the egg milk mixture left over and i did 4 large chicken breasts cut in half but i didn't do a double coating either. So if you are only going to coat it 1 time i would use 1 egg and half cup of milk.
